Occurrence is a podcast about everyday occurrences that took turns for the worst.
There's something about getting lost in an adventure story or a normal day gone wrong. Listening to the real-life (or sometimes un-relatable) situations that people go through and learning why it happened.
Like, when you're a child and you think quick sand is everywhere and something that every-one encounters in their life so you just have to know how to get out of it.
The twist with some of these stories, is that there was no way out for many of them. They were victims of circumstance or someone else's fault. Or they relied on systems that always seem to fail when they're needed most.
If that sounds like something that intrigues you...
You're definitely in the right place!

About The Host
Tatiana is the founder of Occurrence and has been passionate about fixing and figuring out the why behind - well EVERYTHING - since she was young. Perhaps its why she got her Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, even though English and investigative journalism is her passion! She hosts Occurrence and is working on the development of more shows to aid in additional ethical, informative, and preventative content.
Tatiana is passionate about preventing future tragedies, and telling important stories to anyone who will listen in order to prevent the next tragedy. As she always says "You don't know what you don't know", and learning from history, can help prevent repeating it.
Outside of the podcast world, Tatiana spends her downtime indulging in the outdoors, desserts, documentaries, investigations, reading, her dogs, and keeping up with gymnastics skills she no longer performs.
